Baishnabghata Patuli is a township located in the southern part of east Kolkata in West Bengal, India. It constitutes a major portion of Garia. Baishnabghata Patuli Township is a World Bank–funded project on the eastern fringes of EM Bypass, currently one of the most promising parts of south Kolkata. It has a fire station, police station, bus stand, bank ATMs, Kavi Subhash Metro Station, Shahid Khudiram metro station, and many world class hospitals nearby like Apex and Peerless, as well as entertainment areas like Metropolis Mall and Inox Cinemas. There are many multi-cuisine restaurants in BP Township like Palki, Nesha’s Kitchen, Chowman and Bell Pepper near the No. 45 bus-stand, Sholo-Ana Bangali Restaurant near the fire brigade, Machranga beside Patuli Police Station, Bhooter Raja dilo bor near fire station, Food Court, and Illusion in Metropolis Mall.
Small sweet shops like Nnoni, Giriraj, Palace of Sweets, Madhu Malancha etc serve the day to day needs of the people of the area. Besides there is a cafeteria opposite the State Bank ATM called Muzik Cafe which is a rather good proxy for Coffee House! A Mio Amore outlet is also located just beside the State Bank ATM which is a high functioning food shop. Recently the very attractive floating market of Kolkata is situated at Patuli.
Benubon Chaya Water Park
Benubana Chhaya is categorized water park in Kolkata at EM Bypass, Baishnabghata Patuli Township. It is developed by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) in 2013 for beatification of Kolkata. It is Public Park with having Boating, Shikara, angling, tram restaurant or simply gossiping with friends or family amidst the two lakes surrounding it. The Price for the ticket is INR ₹.10/person. However this place is not for going with family, kids and parents after dark. Actually most of parks turns into lovers corner after evening, so it’s too.
